Preparing Art Files
In order to get the best printed product possible, it is important to use the highest
quality art file that you have available.
PREFERRED SOFTWARE FORMATS
Adobe Illustrator (.ai, .eps, .pdf) with All Fonts Converted to Outlines
USABLE SOFTWARE FORMATS
Adobe Photoshop (.psd) include all layers (minimum 300 dpi)
Adobe InDesign (.indd, .eps) include all support files (fonts, linked images, etc.)
.tiff, .jpg, .png, .pdf files may be used for four color process or if the color layers are separated
resolution should be a minimum of 300 dpi
HOW TO SET UP FILES FOR YOUR STICKER:

Stock Sticker Shapes and Sizes Whether your sticker design is a basic bumper sticker (rectangle) or one of our many stock shapes and sizes your art needs a 1/8" border from edge to a color change. Colors can bleed off edge we just need the 1/8" buffer for registration purposes. |

Custom Die Cut Stickers For custom shapes we will need to make a custom steel rule die ($145). The shape can not be overly intricate and 1/8" border is needed. Mark edge of sticker (proposed die shape) with registration line. |

Thermal Die or Kiss-Cut Stickers If there are multiple sticker shapes on a sheet or added tabs or holes special dies will be needed. Cost of these special dies can range from $195-$250 depending on style needed. For multiple shapes on a sheet we need 1/4" border from the edge to any cut lines and 1/8" between any inner cut lines. The 1/8" border for ink changes still applies and all cut lines should be clearly indicated as registration lines. |
